Ok so, something hit me on Tuesday and made me want to do this. Swap the Washington Monument with Sauron's Tower from Lord of the Rings. Still needs the eye and I might add it into the reflection depending on what the critique is. I also need to fix some edges and possibly add the ashen sky and mount doom in the background. So it looks like a government critique, but not the same as I originally planned.
i really like your idea behind this. Was saurons tower a bad thing? i dont know too much about the lord of the rings. i can obviously tell this is a hit on our government. only thing that i could see is that the tower itself stands out to much. the background seems to be too dull compared to the tower. i had some very similar ideas compared to this
ReplyDeleteI see a picture of what would of been the Washington Monument but instead it has the Sauron's Tower from the Lord of the Rings. I also see people walking along the bottom of the photo. So far, the image looks clean with smooth edges. Yes, theres something missing at the top of the tower but I'm assuming that its not finished yet. I do think that this image falls under fair use because he took the Washington Monument image and completely changed it around, the Monument isn't even there anymore. I would say that the reflection in the water should be changed or taken out, unless it was there on purpose. Then the image could maybe interpreted as...what we see on the outside could be completely different from whats on the inside. or...everyone could have some form of a dark side. It could be interpreted in many different ways. So far I like it and cant wait to see the finished project.
